D’banj, Sarkodie and EME Family tops StarGist’s most talked about celebs list!

In a special edition of AfricaMagic Entertainment’s hit daily entertainment and lifestyle news program, StarGist, music stars D’Banj, Sarkodie and the EME crew (made up of Banky W, Wizkid and others) topped the list of most talked about African celebrities in 2012. Since it debuted in June, StarGist has been presenting DStv viewers with the hottest celebrity news from across the continent and elsewhere in the world on a daily basis. On Thursday evening’s special edition to round up the year, hosts Vimbai Mutinhiri and  Lawrence Maleka unveiled their list of most talked about celebs in Africa and the world.  D’banj’s highlights included making an appearance on the UK Charts, his appearance on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music compilation, winning MOBO Award among others. Sarkodie’s highlights included his BET Award win, BET Hiphop Award Cypher among others. While EME’s numerous music videos, North American tour and others placed them in the list as well.  Topping the international list was Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj.]]>
