Delarhymes Vindicated Over Missing Phone

The police allegedly arrested DelaRhymes following a complaint made by a Nigerian known by his nickname, ‘’Kuwait’’. The incident occurred at a food joint near his residence in Nungua on 4th July 2022, a sunny Saturday at about 2pm.He was falsely accused of being in possession of a missing TECNO phone. According to the 2 witnesses who testified at the police station, Kuwait gave his phone to DelaRhymes to handle briefly on a Friday night while he grabbed something to drink at a food joint near the residence of the Rapgelist. Having grabbed the drink, he then took back his phone and hurried his way home to check on his food he placed on fire.
Upon getting back to the food joint, being heavily drunk, he falsely accused The Rapgelist of being in possession of the phone. The Rapgelist in great dismay drew his attention to the scene where he took back his phone. Looking extremely frustrated, Kuwait blamed The Rapgelist the more. He came back to pursue The Rapgelist the next day (Saturday) which got him very furious hence yelling vehemently at him, Kuwait. He had only known Kuwait within the same week of the incident when he (Kuwait) approached him to seek for financial assistance.

A few hours after the disagreement, the police arrived at the residence of the Rapgelist and without lawful interrogation, DelaRhymes was handcuffed and sent to the Kpeshie Divisional Headquarters, Nungua-Accra. After sitting a few minutes behind the counter, He was denied writing statement as required by law and forcefully pushed into the cells.
The Rapgelist was severely brutalized by the inmates. Interestingly, he didn’t allow his current situation shutter his dream of becoming a great artist (superstar). Rather, he was empowered the more to the extent of singing and rapping in the cells. He indeed exhibited his great talent and diligence as a distinct musical artist hence creating a fan base even in the cells.
He got bailed on Sunday afternoon following an intervention by his brother who happens to be an Immigration Officer. When interviewed on his opinion on the sudden tragic event, the Rapgelist said it was bound to happen and that he sees it as a ticket for promotion instead of the usual perception of the public, seeing it as a downfall. He even quoted from the scriptures Gen 41:41, Isaiah 60:1, Exodus 1:12 etc.
The Rapgelist announces a great come back. He has a lot of great projects in store this year. He’s currently working on a freestyle video he titles “Time to Shine”.
“Sit back, relax and watch God do great and mighty things, it’s time to shine” said the Rapgelist.
