Ghanaian on-air personality Deloris Frimpong Manso known popularly as Delay has issued a public apology to musician Obrafuor over claims made on her show by Ayisha Modi.

It would be recalled that, Ayisha asserted on the Delay Show some months ago that she invested $45,000 in Obrafour’s ‘Kasiebo’ project. When the interview was aired, the veteran musician gave Ayisha Modi the opportunity to retract her statement, but she failed to do so.

On November 4th, through his lawyers, Obrafour issued a writ of summons demanding a retraction and apology from Ayisha Modi, the host and producers of the Delay Show. These he demanded to be published in the Daily Graphic Newspaper.

They would have to pay damages of GHS 800, 000 following proceedings at the court.

Taking to Instagram, Delay wrote: “Apologies to @iamobrafour for any inconvenience”

It’s not clear if Ayisha Modi would take a similar action to avoid any legal battle with Obrafour.
