American Rapper/Record Producer, Sean Combs, popularly known as P Diddy has responded to claims that he sabotaged Burna Boy’s Grammy win.

South Africa’s Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo Zikode defeated the Nigerian singer’s ‘Last Last’ to claim the award for the Best Global Music performance, and his “Love Damini” also lost the “Best Global Music Album award to Japan’s Masa Takumi at the 65th Grammys held, Sunday, February 5.

According to fan speculation on social media, Burna Boy lost out at the 65th Grammys because he failed to involve Diddy in the making of his “Love, Damini” album.

Diddy had executive produced Burna Boy’s “Twice as Tall” album which won him a Grammy back in 2021.

However, after Burna Boy’s loss at the 2023 edition of the award show, an Instagram account with Diddy’s name on it had stated;

“I helped you win your first grammy award which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help?? Oh okay…”

The screenshot of the statement seemingly from Diddy went viral and he has responded stating that it is false and from a fake account.
