dj abranteeLondon-based Ghanaian Disc Jockey, Michael Boakye, alias as DJ Abrantee, will host the Fabolous 233 Connect musical concert slated for the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, April 23. As an astounding radio and television personality whose audience spreads across the United Kingdom and beyond, Abrantee’s energy and passion for the work has endeared him to most music lovers.

Abrantie’s dexterity and knack in handling his long-held Early Evening Show on Choice FM (UK) on weekdays for well over a decade, coupled with his exceptional on and off-air interactive skills, continues to put him at the top echelons of the trade.

His confirmation as host for the Fabolous 233 Connect Concert, the organizers are optimistic, would add to the fun already surrounding the April, 23rd event.

With a few TV performances under his belt, appearing in ITV’s The Bill and Footballers Wives, he expanded his resume in 2008 when he presented MTV Base’s DJ Takeover. He subsequently hosted iTunes’ Music Festival which featured N. E. R. D, Taio Cruize, and Jay Sean. Currently, the award-winning disc jockey hosts his own show called The DJ Abrantee Show on cable television network SKY.

Abrantee plays an integral part in today’s young club scene. Over the years, he’s played for stars such as, Jay Z, Missy Elliot and Akon among other heavy weights. Abrantee is also heavily involved in DJ workshops for young entertainers and has fronted many positive community campaigns throughout the United Kingdom.
