DKB lets out the scoop on Ghanaian celebs live on Big Brother Stargame

Published

on

dkb1The first night of having Ghanaian Big Brother housemates, Keitta and DKB together in the Upville House certainly was eventful as the two reminisced about events back home in Ghana.  Starting off with an advice to Keitta on his relationship with singer/rapper Eazzy (Mildred), DKB told Keitta to be strong because the Ghanaian press would tear him and her girlfriend into pieces. DKB said that the disapproval for Eazzy going into the Big Brother house started when Ghanaian Entertainment Journalist, Eugene Sarfo-Nkansah (peacefmonline) leaked the names of Ghana’s reps ahead of the official announcement from the producers of the show. He revisited some of the comments that came out of that publication and also revealed that Eugene Sarfo-Nkansah approached him on BlackBerry Messenger to hint that he knew DKB was going into the Big Brother House. When Keitta commented that he was sure Ghanaians were watching them live at the popular Sunday gathering , Chicken N Beer at Rockstone’s Office, they both sent ‘shout outs’ to viewers back home, and soon after that, DKB opened a can of worms on some Ghanaian celebrities.  DKB revealed that his friend, DJ Armani likes sleeping with young girls in Senior High schools; DJ Big L uses his English accent to woo Ghanaian girls to bed; and DJ Black is jealous of Mike Smith because Reggie Rockstone once praised Mike Smith as the best disc jockey in Ghana. DKB also hinted that he was asked to leave Y-FM after his National Service because someone at the station didn’t like him. According to him the person reported him to management which led to him leaving. He said the same person was responsible for the resignation of former Y-FM Station Manager, George Brun. When Keitta asked whether the person was Jay Foley, he answered in the negative and insinuated that Jay Foley was a ‘small boy’. The Ghanaian duo also talked about a notorious gossiper on twitter and wondered what rumours that person could be spreading about them on their stay in the Big Brother House. They talked about singer, Efya’s tremendous talent and DKB wondered why he hadn’t heard any of Efya’s songs in the Big Brother House yet.  DKB also proudly represented Viasat 1, where he works and praised their picture quality while he mocked other TV stations like TV Africa, GTV, and Metro TV.  He said that Fashion 101 needs serious restructuring and that, Sandra Amkobiah, the host has the passion for fashion but cannot critique. DKB hinted that he was thinking of doing his welcome party at Citizen Kofi Entertainment Center because they supported his career after he left Y-FM. He said that he made around 400 dollars a month from appearances at the Citizen’s Comedy show at the center and added that it was through those gigs that he gained his job at Viasat 1. He ended by bragging about being ‘the king of the Accra Mall’, highlighting his shady activities that included selling events tickets for Y-FM illegally, eating for free at the food court among others.]]>
