Listen UP: Dorolando drops ‘Immortal’ EP

Roland Paul Ebiwei, better known as Dorolando aka YKD (Young Kind Doro) just released his hot and first EP called “IMMORTAL“. The title fits the sound as it comes with five timeless tracks that combine traditional African sound with modern softness.
Each track comes from a different source of inspiration and values: The first track ODESHI can be translated to „impenetrable“ from the Igbo dialect and is used as a „spell“ to protect youreself from harming forces. This represents the African people’s daily struggles and the courage they fight those with.
The second track MAGDALENA is featured by Goldfish and turns the EP to its softer side, where it lets the artists dream about their fantasy girls.
Followd by WAVY Dorolando is featuring Izzik and JayBagz and presents us a street anthem with a club sound that will definetly stuck in your head.
MURDERER on the other hand was written for „every strong woman out there who keeps killing it“, giving us a powerful message and a dynamic sound.
Last but not least is MY LOVE, a song inspired by pure love, which comes in every shape and form.
All in all is the IMMORTAL EP a musical journey through African culture, from the traditional roots to the modern interpretation of the youth. Shexy Ayoz’s ‘Balance It’ is Afrobeats’ captivating new dance anthem

The vibrant new song from Shexy Ayoz is one of the hot new songs to keep on rotation this month. Stream or download ‘Balance It’ across all major digital platforms here: https://fanlink.to/ShexyAyozBalanceIt
‘Balance It’ reveals its uniqueness in just thirty seconds. The opening rhythm that builds up to the sleek vocals of Shexy Ayoz is outright engrossing. It paints the image of a timeless Afobeats song whose effervescent melody will grab the attention of anyone almost immediately. This pull, coupled with the Nigerian singer-songwriter’s preferred language, lends some familiarity to ‘Balance It.’ So much so its enticingly delivered refrain: Balance it, balance it/I submit, I submit.. Balance it, balance it/Anoti for body yeh, will get listeners humming along nonstop.
In the words of Shexy Ayoz: “Balance It is an invitation to the dance floor. I want the ladies to rock to this banger all night every weekend because this is the next big jam out there”. There is a lot of sexual tension and energy locked in the singer’s vocals as they effortlessly work their way into ears to recount scenes from what comes off as an intimate encounter.
Since registering his arrival with 2020’s ‘Cinderella’, Shexy Ayoz has occasionally showcased his ability to create catchy songs. Shortly after doing wonders with his first song, the Afrobeats sensation rose to the occasion in 2021 and shared his first extended play, the 6-track “New Vibez” to establish his brand. The following year, the singer won over fans again with the sizzling ‘Jojo’ featuring fellow compatriot, Blaqbonez.

Ghanaian Rising Star, ZIK Takes Fans On a Journey with Odyssey

ZIK (formerly known as Izzik) was born to be a hero and he knows it. The Lagos raised Ghanaian talent knew the journey he was about to put his fans on when he decided to name his EP ‘Odyssey’. Similar to the Greek legend, Zik has crafted a potpourri of excitement, danger, bounce and grace with finesse. It’s what the young people call Sauce, and as evident on the first single SDTF, Zik has sauce pouring out of his pores.
‘Odyssey’ opens with the beautiful, powerful and aptly titled ‘Walking Shoes’. This song is a celebration of the beauty of his journey and the growth that comes with it. It opens with profound spoken-word poetry from a woman and slides into soulfulness. It’s not your typical Afrobeats intro but Zik is far from typical. Zik is in a lane of his own. He glides and spills real talk all over the catchy production. On ‘Trips’ is the sexy bounce which allows Zik to dictate the new cool. Bad Idea is the song for people who stay on their toes 24/7. The sharp guys and girls. It’s an anthem that immediately puts you on high alert. Zik bleeds honesty and tells detractors “Nod my head this thing I don hear. Abeg free me make I dey my lane.” ‘Odyssey’ has 4 songs and clocks in at around 10 minutes, short enough for you to want to replay all day but packed enough to take you on an emotional rollercoaster.
‘Odyssey’ is now available to stream or purchase on all digital music platforms here: https://zik.fanlink.to/Odyssey
