Dr Sid and Nicola SackeyNigerian sensation, Dr Sid of Mo’Hits Records, publicly hit on former Miss Ghana UK, Nicola Sackey when things weren’t going too well for him on stage at Saturday night’s Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Although Dr Sid has at least three well known songs enjoying rotation in Ghana, he wasn’t getting any good reaction from the crowd at Saturday’s event during his performances.  Perhaps out of frustration, he stopped his performance and asked the DJ not to mix up his music. During the pause, he told the crowd that he was a little nervous performing in Ghana for the first time. He pointed to Nicola, who was a judge on the show saying, “I don’t know who you are but damn you’re fine!”

It wasn’t clear whether it was a stunt to get the crowd worked up or he really was mesmerized by the beauty of Nicola. Dr Sid went one with his performance and fortunately for him got the need reaction when he performed his hit song, “Pop Something”.
