Dress decently to the gym; some men want to make it to heaven – Williams Uchemba tells ladies
Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Williams Uchemba has taken to social media to express his dismay over women’s revealing attire at the gym, prompting him to cease attending public gyms to avoid temptation and maintain his spiritual focus.
The thespian emphasized that the prevalent indecent exposure led him to establish a home gym to evade distractions caused by scantily dressed women. He further urged women to dress modestly at the gym to prevent men from succumbing to temptation, highlighting the increasing prevalence of such attire as “appalling.”
Taking to his social media platforms, Uchemba pleaded with women to reconsider their attire, asserting that their clothing choices could lead men astray from their spiritual goals. He humorously remarked that Nigerian men’s quest for heaven was being hindered by the provocative dress at gyms, prompting him to opt for a home gym to maintain his focus.
The actor’s statement underscore the importance of modesty in public spaces, emphasizing the need for mutual respect and consideration to uphold moral values while pursuing fitness goals.
“Ladies, should all the men stop coming to the gym? Because your indecent dressing is getting out of hand. It’s becoming appalling. I’m tired. Please, try and dress decently to the gym. Some men are determined to make heaven, please don’t distract us. Every time one comes to the gym, he is forced to see what he didn’t intend to see,” he wrote.
He continued; “You ladies have made up your mind to prevent Nigerian men from going to heaven but it won’t work because I’ve left the gym. I’ve set up a gym in my house because I cannot cope. I want to make heaven.”
