Edma Ohemaa Lawer quits MX24 TV

TV host Edma Ohemaa Lawer has resigned from television channel MX24.
In a notice posted on her social media pages, Ms Lawer expressed gratitude to the operators of the channel for giving her the opportunity to be a part of a growing team.

She posted: ”Dear all, I believe in appreciating those who have contributed to my journey one way or the other. I believe in handing out flowers to those who have played significant roles in
my life.

After considering all my options, I have decided to resign from MX24 TV. it was a pleasure hosting The AMClub. Honestly, I am writing this letter solely for our cherished viewers who watched the show and appreciated my craft since the very first episode. I have gained eminently hosting a morning show, knowledge and experience I believe will be of great use in my next venture.
To MX24 TV, thank you for the opportunity, it was a pleasure being a part of a growing team and contributing the best way I could. I truly believe it is the end of
the road for me at the station and wish you all the very best. Kind regards, Edma Ohemaa Lawer”

Ms Lawer joined MX24 from GHOne TV in August 2021. Ohemaa Ghana, as she is popularly known, has a background BSc Hons in Oil and Gas management and a masters degree in International and Democratic Politics. She is also the founder of the NGO YEWGlobal and ELO Consultancy.

Before her resignation, Ms Lawer hosted MX24 TV’s morning show dubbed  ‘The AMClub’
