#Empawa30: Mr Eazi announces the return of Empawa Africa program, starts August 15
Nigerian Afropop star Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade a.k.a Mr Eazi has officially announced the “EmPawa30” accelerator artists program which will kick off on 15th August.
The new project will be funding 30 emerging artists, 10 out of the 30 will get to spend 2weeks with the Mr Eazi and the Empawa mentors in South Africa for a recording & mentorship session. 1/4 of the selected acts get $50,000 to $200,000 funding to start their careers.

Recently, Global search engine, Google pledged to support ten emerging Nigerian musicians through Mr Eazi’s ’emPawa Africa initiative.

Ghana’s J Derobie and Nigeria’s Joeboy are success stories from the first edition of the program. Mr Eazi also shared details of how they both benefitted from the program.
