Enough Already!: “Yvonne Nelson is a special person to me”, says Ice Prince

Published

on

yvonne nelson and iceprinceNigerian rapper Ice Prince has said contrary to rumours he is dating Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, they are just friends and that the latter is a “special friend”. Nothing More! “Yvonne Nelson is a special person to me,” he told Toolz in an interview for the GT Bank-sponsored Ndani TV. In a wide-ranging discussion that bothered on his career, upcoming projects, and personal life, the Chocolate City artiste finally laid to rest suggestions of a possible relationship between him and the Ghanaian actress. “I’ve known her for a while now. I am sure if you ask her she will tell you… i am one of the first people she met when she first came to Nigeria. We became close like that”. Asked what he thought of Miss Nelson, Ice Prince said …” Yea she is cool, she is nice… she is pretty… she is a lady. Pressed further to state whether or not he was attracted to her, he said … “Yea, i mean ask all these guys around (referring to the production team on set of the interview)… they are all attracted to her”. Rumors about the two dating have gained currency these past few days, with both spending quality time on-set of Nelson’s upcoming movie ‘House of Gold’. Ice Prince is making his debut in House of Gold. He stars alongside fellow Nigerians Omawumi and Francis Odega as well as Ghana’s Majid Michel, Luckie Lawson and Eddie Watson. In House of Gold, Dab Ansah Williams, a high flying entrepreneur/business mogul, polygamist and socialite, is battling with cancer and has 6 weeks left to live according to medical practitioners. With the help of his long time associate and legal representative, he embarks on a mission to call all his children back home – most of whom were born out of wedlock and various illicit affairs. The re-union proves a little more than everyone bargained for as each child returns with an agenda, setting the stage for the most hilarious and bizarre 7 days of their lives. At the end, they realize that there is just too much for too many.HOG  ]]>
