FAB Photos: Kontihene releases 5th studio album, ‘Mununkum’

Award-winning and eclectic rapper, Kontihene is back with his 5^th studio album, ‘Mununkum’. The album was officially launched at a ceremony at the Golden Tulip Hotel, which was attended by fellow musicians, media practitioners, friends and family of Kontihene. Kontihene describes ‘Mununkum’ which means dark clouds as one of his best works yet. He said “It is one of my most amazing works because I am trying to give positive messages on very current trends.  Some of the current music don’t have any message, I am not here to condemn anyone, I respect everyone’s work but I am using those kinds of trends with positive music. I always want to stand for songs that have content, content that people can relate to, content that years to come my children can relate to.” He added that ‘Mununkum’ is an album that will inspire and motivate. The 8-track album includes the already released ‘ In Love’ featuring Dada KD and ‘Ohia y3 ya’ featuring Akwaboah; as well as ‘Sweet Candy’ featuring Kwaisey Pee, ‘I go Die’ feat featuring Snooky and ‘Too Fine’ featuring Kojo Osew.   Kontihene will also release the music video for ‘Etuo Mu  Esum’ directed by Prince Davlo in a few weeks. ]]>
