Faze set to release new album, ‘Refazed’ on August 8

REFAZE INDUSTRY NYT EDITED2Faze is set to release his new album titled ‘Refazed’ after months of hard work. The album which showcases the artiste’s diverse creativity is a brilliant fusion of R & B, Reggae, Pop, Afro Pop, Dancehall and Ragga with an interesting African undertone.  Some of the singles off the album – Am in the mood, Nkem, Akachukwu and Follow your mind are already getting heavy airplay across Africa and the rest of the world. The ‘Refazed’ album features guest appearances from the other Plantashun Boiz ‘BlackFace and 2Face as well as Vector and would hit sales stands on August 8. Music lovers would be treated to an exciting album release party on August 8th, 2012 at Oriental Hotel from 8pm. Asides from Faze’s performance; there would be interactive side attractions for all present. The release party is a joint effort of Independent Records (Faze’s Label), Now Muzik and Industry Nite and is proudly supported by Trace TV, Spinlet, Beat FM and Sound City Television. According to Faze, the term ‘Refazed’ refers to an emphasis of the characteristics people have come to know him for; being continuously solid, durable and consistent. He continues “It is a celebration of a new Faze and a reminder that his best is yet to come” Faze whose real name is Chibuzor Richard Oji came into limelight as a member of Nigeria’s most talented, loved and celebrated group – a trio made up of Blackface, 2 Face and himself ; The Plantashun Boiz. The group had two albums to their credit before they split. After the Plantashun Boiz split , Faze went ahead to release three successful  albums namely ; Faze Alone (with hit tracks – Faze Alone, Angel Gabriella , Miss U and Na True), Independent ( with hit tracks – `Kolomental,  Kpo Kpo Di Kpo, Tattoo Girls and Need Somebody) and Originality ( with hit tracks – Originality, Am in Love and Spend My Money). Faze who is constantly working on ways to improve on his talent and reach out to music lovers around the word has plans to go on a nation wide tour immediately after the launch of the album.]]>
