Finally! BET to present award for Best International Act on BET Awards 2018 main stage

When BET announced nominations for the 2018 BET Awards earlier today, putting the African and European categories of the Best International Act together, it signaled an era of change for many pundits. Well, BET Networks African arm has announced that for the first time ever, the winner of the Best International Act  will receive his/her award on the main stage with the American awards. This was revealed in a message on twitter saying :” For the first time ever, the #BETAwards2018 Best International Act category winner will be presented on the main stage.” This answers the the dreams of many pundits like myself , who for years have been criticizing BET for how they treat African acts.  Read some of my past submissions here
