Unlike Daddy Lumba who was celebrated Amakye currently dominates the Highlife music in Ghana with staggering stage craft. His energy on stage has earned him as one of the greatest performers of our time. For most Ghanaians, celebrating his achievements in the music fraternity has been long overdue. Legends and Legacy Ball, which seeks to celebrate the musical achievements and legacies of legends will see musicians Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Eazzy, Kwabena Kwabena, Daasebre Gwamena and sexaphonist, Steve Bedi performing songs by Amakye Dede. The last performance of the night will be by the legend himself, who will perform a couple of his songs. Amakye Dede promised patrons of an exciting show on September 15. The maiden edition of the Legends and Legacy Ball which celebrated Daddy Lumba  was largely hailed for bringing together the two former presidents of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kuffour.
