French Minister Of State pays courtesy call on Osu Mantse

French Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and international partnerships, Madam Chrysoula Zacharopoul has paid a courtesy call on Osu Mantse HRH Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV during her recent work trip to Ghana.

Her visit to the Osu Manste palace was to strengthen cultural relations and discuss issues regarding education and development.

Speaking at the meeting, Madam Zacharopoulou stressed the French government’s commitment to strengthen mutual international partnerships aimed to promote development in various fields of interest.

Addressing his guest, HRH Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV, revealed that his main priority is to promote education, particularly among the youth in Osu.

“Education remains a pivotal part of my plans towards bringing development to the people of Osu in order to enhance efforts to catch up with the rest of the world” he revealed.

He emphasized the need for young people to leverage the AI revolution as an initial step to fully utilize ICT in the present day.

In addition, he mentioned that he was open to collaborations that would invest in the growth of Osu and the welfare of its people.

HRH Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV also gave Madam Chrysoula Zacharopoulou the title of Naa Shomey Akayefi and advised her to consider Osu to be her home.
