Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade given Ghanaian names

American Actress, Gabrielle Union and her former NBA player husband, Dwyane Wade have arrived in Accra, Ghana.

The two made a stop in the nation’s capital as they take on their African tour in celebration of Gabrielle’s 50th birthday.

Mr and Mrs Wade had a fantastic celebration in Zanzibar, Tanzania, before making their way to Accra, Ghana.

For their first outing in Ghana, Gabrielle and Dwayne, alongside their daughter, Kaavia,  were spotted at the enstoolment ceremony of Diallo Sumbry as Nkosuohene (Chief of Development) in Nyame Bekyere, a community between Adawso and Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

At the ceremony, the two lovebirds were welcomed with local Ghanaian names by the newly enstooled Nkosuohene of Adawaso, Diallo Sumbry.

Gabrielle is now known as Akosua Safo and her husband, Kwesi Safo.
