Ghana Jamaica Homecoming Festival launched

A press launch for this year’s Ghana-Jamaica Homecoming Festival was held yesterday, Thursday, June 30.

The event organized by Broadway Entertainment and Dada Son Entertainment in partnership with Kaya Tours GH took place at the Accra Tourist Information Centre. It had in attendance some key industry players, and musicians including Abeiku Santana, Sammy Flex, BullDog, Mr Logic, Mr Root Eye, Epixode, Friction, and Osagyefo among others.

This year’s Ghana Jamaica Homecoming Festival (Ghana meets Jamaica) is scheduled for August 2022. it will feature performances from some of the best Reggae/Dancehall artistes from both countries.

The Ghana-Jamaica Homecoming Festival, inspired by the YEAR OF RETURN, Ghana 2019 initiative by the Ghana Government seeks to identify and align with Jamaica as a gateway to the Caribbean countries and vice versa.
