While the stakes were high for the Black Stars of Ghana to win the match to enable them proceed to the round of 16, they were beaten by 2 goals by their Uruguayan counterparts.

This particular game, dubbed the “revenge game” was very crucial to the Black Stars after the controversial defeat to Uruguay at the 2010 World Cup quarter-final.

However, the Black Stars were not very lucky and were scored two goals to zero, ending their World Cup journey.

The loss of the game broke a lot of hearts, including Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese who took to social media to express his concerns.

According to him, the boys were not hungry enough for victory, hence their defeat.
