Ghanaian Highlife musician, Bisa K’dei has asked Ghanaians to support his efforts of putting Ghana on the map and stop downplaying his craft.

According to the “Mansa” hitmaker, he needs all the support he can get and so Ghanaians should stop with the many criticisms.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Bisa added that even though he has received a lot of backlash from Ghanaians, it hasn’t stopped him from working hard.

“People are going to say whatever they want to because it’s their opinion. Everybody is allowed to say something but it doesn’t mean that’s how the thing is. It doesn’t bother me at all. Trust me.

“As I said earlier, in the beginning, I have released songs but people are expecting too much from me. People release songs and put a lot of money in it but it doesn’t go anywhere.

“And I am trying so hard to put Ghana on the map. I have been to so many places raising the flag of Ghana high. So I think people should see that side too. And realise that Bisa Kdei is also working trying so hard to put Ghana on the map.

“So all I need is the support and not things that will discourage me to stop,” he added

When asked if he would be in any way interested in starting a beef with a fellow artist to create hype, he answered in the negative.

“High life is very sweet and calm. I can’t just go and beef somebody to create hype, no. I can’t do that, I just have to let it flow because that is how highlife is.”

“And the fact that you allow certain things to flow doesn’t mean that you are not working. You are working but if it comes fine. That’s how highlife is. So I just leave it be.” Bisa Kdei added.
