Ghana’s Eden Security Services Recieves ISO Certification

One of the leading private security solutions providers in the country, Eden Security Services Limited (ESSl), has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first private security firm  in West Africa  to receive ISO certifications.The company’s unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to providing top-notch security services have been recognized through these certifications.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certifications are globally recognized benchmarks that demonstrate an organization’s adherence to rigorous standards and best practices in various domains.

The private security firm received both the ISO 9001 and ISO 18788 certifications on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, for its compliance with international best practices in providing manpower security, cash-in-transit services and rapid response services. The ISO 9001:2015 certification for the company’s quality management systems and ISO 18788:2015 certification for its security operations management systems.

Speaking to the media after a ceremony which was held in the Greater Accra Regional capital, Accra, on Friday, June 16, 2023, to officially announce the attainment of the ISO Certifications, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm, Emmanuel Amoah Quartey, made known that the achievement of the ISO certifications reaffirms  Edern Security’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in all our endeavors.

According to the CEO, the company has expectations of going to other countries, adding that it is already in Togo and is looking forward to going to Liberia this year. ”For us we think the process has just began. We believe in continuos improvement and we think for us any step we take for us to be better than yesterday is the way forward. And so  we have just started. The standards we have achieved today is just one milestone, going into the future, are expection is that we would even achieve better height.”

He also noted that attaining the certifications  required the collective efforts, dedication, and commitment of each and every member of the organization. He explained by saying  ” from the management team to  every guard, we worked tirelessly to implement robust quality management system, established effective processes, and ensured the highest level of service quality.”

The two certifications are however expected to expire on March 28, 2026.
