GOtv To Revamp Its Channel Offering This November!

The season for giving is around the corner and GOtv is officially on a drive to offer its customers more value and more choice with an ever-evolving and enhanced television experience for the whole family this coming festive season! From 13 November, GOtv customers across the GOtv Max and Plus packages will enjoy a fresher, exciting entertainment as brand-new channels are added as well as making some of the great channels on higher packages available to more customers on other packages.

New channel launches on GOtv Max:

GOtv Max is getting bigger and better! On 13 November, GOtv Max will be boosted with brand new entertainment channels like TNT Africa, Discovery ID, Da Vinci Kids and Cartoon Network!

 

Cartoon Network

Leading kids channel Cartoon Network is sure to keep both kids and adults entertained throughout the festive season and beyond on channel 158. The channel is a gateway for non-stop fun, laughter and adventure with well-known hits such as Ben 10, Craig of the Creek, Powerpuff Girls and much more. GOtv viewers can also look forward to a brand-new Cartoon Network original series, Victor and Valentino, a show about two mischievous brothers who go on adventures that put them in the path of some curious creatures. The new show premieres on Wednesday 23 November. In December, the holidays are sure to be a hit with new episodes from the much-loved, Teen Titans Go, a comedic look at young superheroes, showing what life is like for the teens when their capes come off.

TNT

TNT is a blockbuster filled channel with an array of film favorites tailored for the whole family. The channel is broadcast on channel 116

Action movie buffs are in for a treat this November with the Martial Arts Marathon scheduled for the month. Catch non-stop classics starring iconic stars like as Jean Claude van Damme, Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Bruce Lee.

December is all about the holidays and getting entertained with the whole family. TNT has you set with heart-warming films including Tim Burton’s imaginative take on the kids classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Da Vinci

Kids edutainment channel, Da Vinci on channel is inspired by its namesake, groundbreaking artist, scientist and inventor, Leonardo Da Vinci. The channel, which will broadcast on channel 157 aspires to illustrate the beauty and wonders of human curiosity and its explorations, be it in science, arts or innovation. The new edutainment channel will amaze and delight GOtv with a range of fun educational programming for kids and whole families alike filled with humor, imagination and meaningful educational takeaways that cover Science, Math & Tech, Play & Make; History & Personalities; Culture; Life & Nature and Sports & Leisure.

Discovery ID

The addition of Discovery ID on GOtv Max on channel 148 will add thrilling real-life drama and suspense to the content slate. The channel showcases the best in gripping stories and dramatic reconstructions of everyday people behaving badly, all filmed in a contemporary and stylish format. From 15 November at 21:50 CAT viewers can tune into the enthralling series, Someone You Thought You Knew, which reveals stories about people who were murdered by someone they trusted. With real archive footage, re-enactments and interviews with detectives, each episode delves into the lives of the victims and their killers, revealing the truth behind the deception.

GOtv Max and Plus Package Changes

GOtv Plus customers will get and additional channel picking up 47 channels, while GOtv Max customers will pick up 54 channels. Planet Tv (73) will stop airing from 11th November.
