Grammys 2020: Yemi Alade’s “Woman of Steel” album up for consideration

Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has put up her “Woman of Steel” album for consideration in the “Best World Music Album” category of the Grammys.

The singer, who recently dropped her anticipated album ‘Woman of Steel,’ took to her Instagram to share the news.

“We’re up for GRAMMY AWARD Consideration! 🙏🏾✊🏾 Reaching out to all voting members of @recordingacademy to consider my Album, Woman of Steel for Best World Music Album! This has been an incredible project and I would love to celebrate it with all of you.”

The 2020 installment will take place on January 26th and looks set to be one of the most fiercely contended Grammys yet.
