King of the Ashantis, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who is on routine medical check up in South Africa visited the team at their hotel in Cape Town ahead of this evening’s CHAN final with Libya.

Ghana are making their second final appearance after losing out in the maiden edition of the tournament exclusive to players based in their home countries in 2009.

The Asantehene urged the give their all to make Ghana proud.

The King reminded the players of the nation’s support and communicated to them a message from President John Mahama, who the Asantehene revealed, had promised a handsome package should they lift the trophy.

“I will be at the stadium to support you and remember that I will be the number 12th man with you,” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said.

“I would want to share in your success just like every Ghanaian. Please remember that the entire country is behind you.
