I don’t allow people’s opinions get to me – Yemi Alade on how she manages to stay away from controversies

Nigerian music diva, Yemi Alade has opened up about her approach to staying clear of controversies in the entertainment industry.

During the ‘Rebel Queen’ album listening party in Lagos, the ‘Double Double’ hitmaker mentioned that she has managed to maintain a relatively scandal-free career, a feat she attributes to not letting other people’s opinions affect he.

Yemi Alade detailed that she handles negative criticisms by simply disregarding them, stating, “I don’t think about it (negative criticisms) too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve.”

“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions,” she added.
