I Don’t See Anything Wrong With Twerking – Akuapem Poloo

Twerking, a popular dance form characterized by rhythmic movements of the hips and buttocks has become a subject of controversy and debate in recent times. While some perceive it as inappropriate or even degrading, others argue  that it is a form of self expression.

However, Ghanaian actress and social media personality, Rosemary Brown, otherwise known as Akuapem Poloo, stands firmly in support of twerking, emphasizing that she sees nothing wrong with it.

Her comment comes after she was seen in a viral video twerking and shaking her body during her birthday celebration.

Speaking during a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show, the Christian turned Muslim actress, opined that twerking is part of expressing one’s joy. According to her, twerking is part of dancing making emphasis on how King David danced until his clothes fell off.

”Oh you see; I dont see anything wrong with twerking. When you are happy you do a lot of things and twerking is part of dancing.”
