The Father of rapper Kwesi Arthur, Mr. Danso Arthur, has said there was a point in time he feared his son would be coerced into gambling. His fear has however passed because Kwesi is “a refined young man now.”

Mr. Danso Arthur said this whilst Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Monday.

According to him, the “Grind Day” rapper and his brothers, usually spent most of their leisure times at gaming centres which also doubled as gambling spots.

“I did not like it when they used up their leisure time at game centres. I was not against them playing games but they falling prey to gambling,” he stated.

Mr Arthur added that he punished them severally to deter the from going back to the game centers.

“When I catch them (Kwesi and his brothers) at the game centres, they know what I do. I did not use cane in my house but a leather belt and that put some fear in them,” Mr Arthur added.
