Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese has recounted his contribution to the success of Stonebwoy’s career.

In a recent Facebook live session, the “Win” rapper noted all the times he came through for Stonebwoy, even at the time when nobody would give him a chance.

Kwaw Kese states that he featured Stonebwoy on multiple tracks that enabled him to become a big contributor to the Ghanaian music industry.

According to Kwaw, even though he contributed to Stonebwoy’s success, there are still conversations that he has contributed nothing to the development of other artists.

‘‘Stonebwoy’s  first song, ‘wake up in the morning man what is your name, give thanks and praise to the holy name’ go and listen to that song, that is the first song when stonebwoy was in JHS I wrote for him and I put him on, from there I also put him on another song, but sometimes it pains me, that is why nowadays I am staying wicked because people will tell you don’t put anybody on,’’ Kwaw Kese claims.

According to Kwaw, he met with Stonebwoy at the studio way back in the Junior high school level and provided him with adequate support and guidance, and further gave him the exposure and recognition he needed to establish his career.

‘‘Ask Stonebwoy, he was JHS at that time and nobody was even minding him, but I put him on, did a song with him and he made it,’’ he said.
