Ghanaian Hip-pop artist, D-black, says he has never and will never make anyone write songs for him except rappers Manifest and Obrafour.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s morning show ‘Daybreak Hitz’ with Andy Dosty today, the “VERA” hitmaker explained that songwriters’ lyrics may not reflect his thoughts and ideas and may not tell his story the way he would like to tell them.
“It is difficult for me to make people write songs for me, it is something I will never do because they might not write my story the way I want it so I will write it, however, way I can,” he said.
According to the Black Avenue Muzik CEO, if he will ever consider anyone to write a song for him, the storyline must be totally different from what he has done so far.
“If anyone will write for me it has to be a story I have never written before, Manifest and Obrafour are great story writers, they are people I’d love to write songs for me,” he stated.
