I will use $40,000 to import rice for business rather than use it on a music video – Celestine Donkor

Ghanaian Gospel singer, Celestine Donkor has revealed that although she loves making gospel music and music videos, she would rather venture into a rice-selling business rather than spend a fortune on music videos.

Not long ago, Gospel artiste, Empress Gifty, claimed she spent about $40,000 the equivalent of Gh¢250,531 on her newly released music video for her song ‘Eyɛ Woa’.

However, in an interview on Adom FM, Celestine Donkor in responding to the pros and cons of employing a large budget for music videos said the most she’s spent on a music video is 12,000gh.

The host who then made reference to Empress Gifty’s $40,000 asked if Celestine would spend such amounts on her own music video project.

To answer, the ‘ONLY YOU’ singer said: ‘ I would rather use that money for a rice business. I will import rice from China and sell’
