I wish my first son marries a woman like his mother to appreciate my pain – Reggie Zippy
Several months have passed since UK-based Ghanaian artist Reggie Zippy, known for his work with Reggy and Bolie, publicly announced the dissolution of his long-standing marriage.
The aftermath of his divorce continues to unfold, as he frequently updates his fans and followers regarding his current circumstances and his relationship with his children.
In a recent live broadcast, Reggie shared that he is fervently praying for his son to eventually marry someone akin to his mother, hoping that this will help him comprehend the challenges he is facing. He stated that he has moved forward following the end of his marriage, emphasizing his desire to care for his children.
However, he expressed that his ex-wife is obstructing his efforts. During the video, he also disclosed that he faced arrest while attending his daughter’s baptism to offer her support.

“My son is 16 and he is growing. I pray he gets to grow and marry a woman just like his mother so that he appreciates what I went through.
”And if your mother is not happy about that, then you know who you are. All I want is to play a role in my children’s lives. I was arrested when my daughter was being baptized,” he said.
