Despite remarks from actor John Dumelo insinuating that he has been betrayed by his brother, Fred Nuamah for choosing to contest in the same constituency as him under the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, the latter seems to think otherwise.

According to Fred Nuamah, John Dumelo will forever remain his brother, despite the issues they are currently facing due to their decision to both run for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat.

In an interview on United Showbiz on UTV, Fred stated;

“John Dumelo is not my friend; he is my brother, so I won’t let politics come between us. I won’t let politics destroy our brotherhood. Apart from him being my brother on the other side, NDC is one party, so our issue is a house matter. For all you know, we have resolved the matter.”

Fred Nuamah also stated that although John Dumelo has declared “war” on the matter, he is   certain that they will resolve the matter internally.

Meanwhile, Dumelo states that the move by Nuamah to run against him is a stab in the back.

“I think that’s the betrayal, that’s a stab in the back, for someone I’ve known for almost 20 years? That’s a stab in the back,” he stated.
