Ghanaian Lawyer and Lecturer, Mr. Akoto Ampaw has opined that had socialite, Hajia4real spent her “romance scam” money quietly, she would not find herself on the bad side of Ghanaians following her arrest.

The controversial lawyer shared this opinion while speaking on Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem on Wontumi TV on May 21, 2023.

According to Mr Ampaw, he was astonished at how Hajia4real was showing off the wealth she made from allegedly scamming men in the United States of America.

Sharing a personal experience he had with Hajia, Lawyer Ampaw revealed that he was witness to her sharing money lavishly while on a plane to Kumasi.

“If Hajia 4 Real had sat down quietly enjoying her money from the romance scam, we wouldn’t have had any problem with her but she came to show off. She was doing this and that and this …I sat on a plane with her from Kumasi, and the way this girl was sharing money, meanwhile getting money is not that easy and she was just wasting money anyhow,” he stated.

Mona Faiz Montrage, popularly known as Hajia4Reall was extradited from the United Kingdom to the US for allegedly swindling over $2 million from older, single American men and women in a twisted lonely hearts scam.

She has reportedly pleaded not guilty during her court appearance and is set to be released on home detention to her aunt’s New Jersey residence in the coming days on $500,000 bond, with GPS tracking via an ankle monitor.
