I’m not against body enhancements, but I’m not promoting it either- Fantana

Ghanaian singer, Francine Koffie popularly known as Fantana, has clarified that while she is not opposed to body enhancement, she is not encouraging it.

In a previous interview with Zionfelix, she had reportedly stated that she takes delight in her bodily improvements, and now she explains why.

During a Daybreak Hitz interview with Doreen Avio, she corrected her alleged remark.

“I don’t think I said that, I don’t remember saying that, enhancement is anything, I could have went to the gym, enhancement means anything and I feel like young women and everyone is trying to do stuff to enhance themselves to feel pretty or whatever.

“Surgery is a really strong topic and I don’t want to be out here and like give younger girls the wrong impression or make them feel like they have to do certain things, so me genuinely I don’t really like to talk about that, everyone should make their own decisions for themselves because at the end of the day if I sit here and promote surgery, a lot of people will do it just because I said I did it.”

She added: “There are younger girls who look up to me and I don’t want talk about that or promote it and now they will be there thinking they would love to do it,” she said.

Fantana, who has been featured in the Netflix series “Young, Famous, and African”, stated that she is not against body enhancements and anyone can have that to improve their body, she however advised that it is not out of peer pressure.
