Ghanaian actress, Andrea Owusu popularly known as Efia Odo is booting against governments’ mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.

Following the discovery of the Omicron variant of the virus, governments across the world are scrambling to impose vaccine mandates and tighten restrictions.

This effort by governments is raising eyebrows as some liberals think it is wrong to make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory. One of the opponents of mandatory vaccination is Efia Odo.

The actress wrote in a tweet that taking the vaccine or not should be a personal choice and not by the discretion of governments. In defiance, the actress has resolved to stay in her house and not go anywhere since she is not ready to take any “by force” “disapproved” vaccine.

Efia Odo found it difficult to understand why Malaria kills more people than COVID-19 but people are now being forced to take vaccinations against COVID.

In a tweet that has received major backlash, Efia wrote:

“Malaria has killed more people than COVID 19 (approximately 20,000 people yearly) but they’re mandating us to take a vaccine. Taking a vaccine should be a personal choice and not a mandatory decision. Guess I’m stuck in Ghana cuz Im not taking any disapproved vaccine,”
