Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has shared his thoughts on Meek Mill filming at the Jubilee House for a music video which went viral recently.

Three weeks ago, the rapper posted a video teaser on his Instagram page of him touring the Jubilee House and rapping to new song lyrics during his visit to Ghana.

The video quickly went viral on social media and caused rage amongst Ghanaians who expressed their disappointment at the Presidency for allowing Meek Mill to film at the Jubilee House.

Following the intense backlash, Meek Mill deleted the music video from his social media pages and issued an apology via Twitter.

Reacting to the issue on his appearance at the Breakfast Club in the United States, Stonebwoy has stated that Meek Mill was not at fault, and didn’t intend to cause any malice with filming at the Jubilee House.

According to Stonebwoy, the people at fault are the security personnel and protocol at the Jubilee House who failed to let Meek Mill know the rules against filming in the Jubilee House.

“Truth be told, I couldn’t be able to come to the US and go to the White House and do whatever I want to do except there was a certain amount of leeway that I could do. I don’t think it was a big deal but the internet went crazy and he did the best thing he had to do and for me, I think it was the job of the security personnel and the protocol to make sure they made him aware that we don’t film over here, we don’t do this. He’s excited, he doesn’t know the laws I believe. He only tried to get the best of his trip and coming out to apologise just shows you his true intentions. He wasn’t in the know to go throw dirt on such a place,” Stonebwoy explained.
