pics 3The political situation in Ghana at the moment is no laughing matter as we prepare to go to the polls in a few months amidst controversies of judgment debts. The news from the exchange rate market has many business people scowling at the balance sheets. Alas the situation makes the 1014 Laugh’s and Music series organised by Charterhouse in partnership with MTN an absolute “must” attend for all. It is the one show that patrons, the hard working Ghanaian professionals, can let their hair all the way down and laugh. The absolutely irresistible total package presented by the Laughs and Music series promises a welcome respite from the stresses that has become a part of daily life. Patrons are sure to enjoy some hearty laughs at the jokes presented by some of Africa’s very best stand-up comedians. According to the organizers the comedians schedule to appear on stage, for the August 4th event, include the hilarious Okey Bakassi, the likes of Bovi, I go Save, Akpos, Hogan and Funny Face. The music segment of the show will be ably taken care of by Amandzeba, Betha and Wutah Afriyie among others. The comedy series has developed an expectant cult following over the years and will be celebrating its 14th edition on August 4th. Audience numbers seem to increase with every show to the point where organisers are compelled to host it at the Conference Center Dome which is still the biggest indoor event venue in Ghana. With this high profile performer set for the show, one cannot help but anticipate the Night of a 1014 Laugh’s and Music. Tickets can be obtained from Charterhouse, Koala and XMen for GHc60 for standard and GHc 120 for VIP.  ]]>
