Jimmy Jean-Louis, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and others book roles on upcoming new season of 'Arrow'

Nollywood & African Film Critics Awards (7)After his two-years stay in Paris, Haitian star actor, Jimmy Jean-Louis is back in Los Angeles and already has bagged a role in the upcoming season of The CW’s action-drama Arrow, which will also feature the talent of actress of Ghanaian origins, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Amanda Waller. Jimmy Jean-Louis, who informs me that he’s currently in Vancouver shooting what will be a multi-episode arc for a character he’s signed up to play, who goes by “The Captain.” Jimmy says that the character is somewhat morally ambiguous, and will first appear on Arrow, in an episode at the end of October. Jimmy Jean-Louis is certainly no stranger to superhero-themed TV series, as you might recall the Haitian actor (who won the 2013 Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Award in the Best Actor in a supporting role Diaspora Film category) played a character known primarily as The Haitian. on NBC’s Heroes, a few years ago. Arrow is based on the chronicles of the DC Comics superhero Green Arrow. It’s second season premieres on Wednesday, October 9 at 8/7c on The CW.]]>
