Jimmy Jean-Louis talks about the 66th Festival de Cannes -says The Great Gatsby isn't that great

I caught up with Haitian superstar, Jimmy Jean-Louis to find out about his highlights for this year’s ceremony. He said “My highlights were  The opening ceremony with the presence of Spielberg and Nicole Kidman for Leonardo Di Caprio’s ‘The great Gatsby’ – the movie is not great though.”

The actor who also hosted the Black tie Fundraiser Gala  at the  Carlton Hotel  on May 21 added that he also enjoyed the gala which was also attended by Akon with performances from the likes of  from Gary Dourdan . He commented, “The funds will go to “The heart Fund” to built a hospital in Haiti, I’m  the Ambassador of the non profit organisation.”
Jimmy also attended the IWC dinner “For the love of cinema” , which was also very prestigious and entertaining  with the presence of Naomi Watts, Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and performance by Jamiroquoi.
During the closing ceremony of the 66th Festival de Cannes, the Jury presided over by Steven Spielberg revealed the award winners. Jérôme Salle’s Zulu starring Orlando Bloom and Forest Whitaker, was screened at the end of the ceremony.
