John Dumelo begins the construction of a food processing factory to increase production and create jobs

Ghanaian Actor and Entrepreneur, John Dumelo is taking his farming business a step further.

The actor turned farmer, who started the production and  processing of ginger over the last couple of years has revealed plans to increase production through the construction of a food processing factory.
According to John, the construction of the food processing factory, situated in the Guan district is already underway and should be ready for used in the next 14months.
“The construction of a food processing factory in the Guan district has began, expected to complete in 14months with production capacity of 1500tons/ of ginger and other products in a yr, and create some 750 direct/indirect jobs. #Melofoods” he shared on Twitter. 

John Dumelo ventured into farming a couple of years ago and has since not looked back. The actor turned politician grows different types of crops on a large scale; he currently produces cocoa, ginger, yam, maize, rice, etc.,  and also rears animals such as cattle, goats, rabbits, among others.

John believes the way forward for the youth of Ghana is farming, and he never misses the chance to encourage the youth to go into farming.
