Joy Prime and Salm excites thousands at a Beautiful Christmas Concert

It was indeed a beautiful and energetic Christmas at the PIWC Dome at the ATTC, Accra as Joy Prime in Partnership with Salt and Light Ministries presented Harmonious Chorale in a Concert which lived up to it’s name dubbed “ A Beautiful Christmas”.

The Concert was at its peak when the Choir enacted some hilarious scenes from the Nativity story followed by an eruption of singing and dancing as Patrons were ushered to the dance floor during the Choir’s electric performance of the most popular “OYE” Song, which has traveled beyond the shores of the country and grown to become the favourite of many Ghanaians including the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo-Danquah Akkufo Addo.

The event which took place on last Sunday 9thDecember 2018 at the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) Dome, which drew huge numbers of people and vendors. The 2000 capacity auditorium received  and overflow of several hundreds of audiences who where all present to witness the stunning performances. Ghana’s favourite Entertainment and Family Channel, Joy Prime produce and carried the entire Event Live,ushering viewers into the festive season with melodious carols, classical, and choral highlife music amidst choreography and drama.

As the Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries and Executive Chairman of the Harmonious Chorale, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee delivered the opening Christmas Message whilst Miss Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong, Channel Manager of Joy Prime, delivered a Christmas Message on behalf of the Multimedia Group Ltd.

Harmonious Chorale is well known for its superb performances in choral music not only in Ghana but on the global stage. Winning gold medal and being crowned a Champion of the World Choir Games 2018 in South Africa.

The Founder and Executive Director of the Harmonious Chorale James Varrick Armaah, is also the composer of the popular song “Asem papa bia mate” aka “Oye”.
