Kelvin Roos to judge on “Port-Elizabeth’s Next Top Model”
South African international model, Kelvin Roos will be appearing as judge on the popular “Port-Elizabeth’s Next Top Model” catwalk event as it turns into a reality show in May 2013. This event will take place from 1st – 5th May and it will see Kelvin and the other celebrity judges choose a Top 20 models. The 20 will then be given 2 tasks to do before judges select the top 10 to go to the finals. Kelvin Roos has a modelling career that started at the age of 5years. Kelvin’s mother Burnedette Roos entered him into a baby photo competition and he was selected as 1strunner-up in the competition. She took him to enter a face of the year event when Carolyn Baldwin Botha owner of Pageants South Africa scouted him andinvited him to enter the National event Miss & Mr. Junior South Africa. In the year 2006 Kelvin decided to enter the competition which was held in Port Elizabeth and he walked away as the winner for the age group Mr. Pre-Teen SouthAfrica. After winning the national title he went on representing his country South Africa at the international contest “King and Queen of the Universe” and got placed as the winner in his age group. With the help of Carolyn, parents, friends and media Kelvin became the first South African to MC the international children’s festival “Little Miss World” in Turkey. Kelvin owns his own Pageant Production Company and enjoys scouting for models to represent South Africa at International events as he is the National Director from South Africa for numerous international events.
