Kidi’s ‘Sugar’ the movie goes to London

KiDi, the beloved Ghanaian musician and Lynx signee, released his long-awaited debut album, Sugar on the 31st of May 2019, alongside a star studded movie featuring acclaimed actors James Gardiner, Adjetey Anang, DKB, and Fella Makafui.

Musicians Cina Soul, Kwesi Arthur, and the fast-rising Veana Negasi constitute the rest of the main cast.The movie premiered in Ghana at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall, and due to the overwhelming response it received, powerhouse Lynx Entertainment are screening SUGAR this weekend for the London fans!

KiDi plays the main role of a musician who allows the fame to turn him into a womaniser until he meets a woman who makes him change his ways.

Although love gave him a second chance, KiDi’s promiscuous ways sent him behind bars endangering the relationship, his image and the career he had built over the years.

Lynx Entertainment Presents SUGAR: The Movie
The movie’s soundtrack features songs from KiDi’s debut album ‘Sugar’. The 13-track album consists of an array of prestigious collaborations, from the likes of rapper Medikal, Mr Eazi, Stonebwoy, and Nigerian pop stars Mayorkun and Peruzzi.

Since its release across all digital platforms, fans have enjoyed tracks such as the Kwesi Arthur-assisted “Mr. Bad Man,  Adiepena, Thunder, Letter to Afia, Cinderella, Sugar Daddy, and Fakye Me among others.

KiDi’s fusion of rnb, afrobeats and highlife have impressed listeners across the globe and if this stunningly composed album is anything to go by, the movie will most certainly not disappoint!
