king lexyAfter dropping his debut album in 2010, Nigerian rapper/songwriter/artist, King Lexy established himself as one of the UK’s finest African acts he plans to stay on course with the release of ‘Na Who’, the first single and title track of his highly anticipated sophomore.  The song which features fellow UK-based Nigerian artist, JJC was written by King Lexy and produced by TeeBeeO. It is a love song illustrating a man looking for a lovely lady to take home. The video, directed by Bigboyz Ent London has been a phenomenal hut since it was released online.

As the mastermind behind some phenomenal international Hausa singles, many of King Lexy’s fans may feel a sense of a new direction in his music but in spite of embarking on a new and exciting musical journey with his latest single and album, his music will always continue to be influenced by the euphoric rhythms and sounds of Hip-Hop/Afro-Beat.

“My heritage is very important to me and I will always find new and creative ways to reflect this within my music. I love to use music as tool to encourage, inspire and motivate others. As an African man, I think that it is important to encourage younger Africans to stand united and proud of where they come from, thus was the motivation and drive behind the ‘Na Who’ single and project”.

Born as Alex Samson, King Lexy was born in Kaduna State, Nigeria, where he lived with his grandparents throughout his school days till he even.
