kofi sriboe and drakeGhanaian-born Hollywood actor, Kofi Sriboe seems to be taking his songwriting skills seriously nowadays.  The actor, songwriter and model Kofi Siriboe attended the BMI Urban Awards with fellow international music star, Drake who inspired and gave knowledge to the young rising star.

Kofi took a break from the set to dip his feet in the music world to help celebrate one of music’s biggest nights with some of the most influential artist, songwriters, and producers in the game in Hollywood, CA on August 26. Kofi is equally passionate about having a career in music as he is about acting, and was very inspired by the evening of stars, which included Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Dr.Dre, The Game, Lex Luger and many more.

He was able to converse with some of these greats, who had no problem dropping some knowledge on the up and coming musician. With this inspiration, Kofi plans on making his mark in the industry and crossing all genres. A big highlight of the night was meeting Young Money artist, Drake, an icon in the game. Being granted some musical knowledge from the down to earth superstar brings Kofi one step closer to making his presence known in the industry!

The young actor has been seen on the big screen in films such as Ice Cube’s “The Longshots”, Walt Disney’s “Prom”, and critically acclaimed Toronto Film Festival select “40”. Kofi has also appeared on TV shows such as ABC Family’s “Lincoln Heights”, HBO’s “Entourage” and MTV’s “Punk’d”.
