Hollywood teen actor, Kwesi Boakye will be making a special appearance today, Saturday August 11, at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. Kwesi is the special celebrity guest who will attend the “Back to School Bash”, where over 1,500 backpacks, filled with school supplies, will be passed out to children who face financial hardship. According to the young actor, the message in his new film “Unconditional” has helped him understand that it’s important to give back to our community. The 13 year old stars alongside Michael Ealy and acting novice Gabriella Phillips in this Christian film, which is based on true events. The film is a touching story about a woman named Samantha whose husband was murdered, thereby shaking her faith in God. She has a hard time accepting the tragic event until her friend, Papa Joe (Ealy) helps to teach her about forgiveness while taking care of and mentoring two underprivileged neighborhood kids (Boakye and Phillips). “Unconditional” is set to premiere September 21.]]>
