Learn to appreciate bloggers – Musicians in Takoradi advised

Popular Takoradi based entertainment pundit, Boga Ali Hashim has advised musicians in the Western Region to appreciate bloggers for projecting their works to the populace.

As a content developer, Boga Ali Hashim believes bloggers in the Western region have been disparaged for long despite working assiduously in projecting artistes from the region.

Speaking in an interview on Beach FM in Takoradi on Saturday, July 16, the award-winning blogger who is known for his enormous contribution to the gospel industry in the region, indicated that bloggers in the Western Region are doing tremendously well and it is a high time artistes and industry players show them enough respect jut like their peers in other regions.

“We are doing very well and I must say that emphatically.. We write stories, share them on our social media platforms yet our own people do not appreciate that. Some of us don’t sleep at night just because we want to project an artiste or a brand”, he said.

“Showing appreciation is not always about money but at least saying thank you for writing your story is enough but our artistes here are not doing that.

“We buy data with our own money, spend time to write stories about an artiste and they refused to show appreciation, they don’t even call to say thank you and even don’t share them as well. The disrespect is becoming too much. Our own people here appreciate those in Accra than us despite our hard works, they should learn to appreciate us. We might be charging for stories very soon”, he added.
