JodiLiberian-American singer Jodi aka ‘The Liberian Boy’ has released his long awaited single ‘Swaggeristic’ and says he is poised to become a household name not only in the African Diaspora but also amongst non-Africans. Rated as the ‘Next Big Thing’ by Style & Prestige Magazine, Jodi has also been referred to as ‘Africa’s number 1 emerging R&B/Afro- Pop artist’ by BeeAfrican Media. With such strong accolades already under his belt, Jodi must certainly be destined to be a force in the music industry.   His falsetto vocals caress both R&B and Afro-pop and his music and energetic performances have appealed to Reggae, Soca and R&B fans alike.

Jodi and his family moved from Liberia to the Ivory Coast to escape the civil war in 1990.  During this difficult time period, music became both a tool to escape the sadness of having to leave home and a source of inspiration to rise above adversity.  As his desire to pursue a career in music grew, he ventured from Africa to Europe to cultivate his talent.  Performing wherever he could, Jodi began to amass a following in Africa and Europe.

His first album ‘Jodi.com’ featuring hit singles like ‘Liberia Girl’, ‘Think About You’, and ‘Dime Piece’ earned great reviews.  Commercial success with the ‘Floating’ album left fans impatiently awaiting his next project. The wait ended with the pre-Labor Day release of his latest single ‘Swaggeristic’.

‘Swaggeristic’ is a dancehall styled tune that is expected to bend the ears of music lovers and bring Jodi massive exposure all over Africa, the United States, Europe, Asia, and  the Caribbean. “Swaggerictic” is available online at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com and www.jodiclarke.com.
