It means a great deal to him to be seen as a youthful president and Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama didn’t let the moment slide during his inauguration on Monday morning. The president showed his ‘swag’ when he read his acceptance speech from a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1;  although several media commentary suggest it was an iPad. It appears, he is a Samsung guy; Mahama also used a Samsung Galaxy Tab during his speech at the NDC delegates congress some time in 2011. John Mahama was sworn in by the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Justice Georgina Wood at an impressive ceremony attended by several dignitaries including former Presidents Jerry Rawlings and John Kufuor and hundreds of Ghanaians. Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah was also sworn into office by the Chief Justice at the event grounds at the Independence Square in Accra. The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) including its Parliamentarians boycotted the inaugural ceremony. They are challenging the election results at the Supreme Court.IMG-20130107-WA0000]]>
